A Guide to Artisan Knitwear Collections at JuneBee Baby

Not sure which knitwear collection in my shop is right for you?
If you are visiting for the first time, you might notice that the knits are organized into a few different collections. These include hand knitted clothing and accessories for children, moms, and even dolls.
Some pieces are ready to go right away. Others are knit especially for you after your order is placed. There are also coordinating styles for moms and children, and tiny outfits designed for dolls.
Here is a simple guide to help you understand how the collections work and how to choose the one that fits your needs.
Ready-to-Ship Knits
Sometimes you find something you love and you want it immediately, so I always keep a group of knits available in stock.
This Ready-to-Ship collection includes clothing and accessories that are already finished and orders usually ship within 24 hours.
Quantities in RTS knits are limited and sizes may sell out.
If you are unsure about the fit, you can send a message through the contact form. I will happily measure the exact piece for you so you can order with confidence.
Made-to-Order Knits
Many of the pieces in the shop are part of the Made-to-Order collection.
This means your knit is hand knitted after your order is placed. Instead of producing large quantities ahead of time, each piece is created slowly and intentionally.
Your piece will usually be ready in about one month.
One of the benefits of Made-to-Order pieces is the flexibility. Fit adjustments and small style tweaks are always welcome at no extra cost.
For example, you might request a sweater that is slimmer or roomier, adjust the length, change a V-neck to a crewneck, or switch puff sleeves to straight sleeves.
If you are unsure about sizing or modifications, feel free to reach out. I am always happy to help.
Mommy and Me Knits
The Mommy and Me pieces are part of the Made-to-Order collection and feature coordinating knits for moms and children.
Some families enjoy matching in the same style. Others prefer coordinating colors instead. Both approaches work beautifully.
You can also order individual pieces if you prefer. A sweater for mom or a cardigan for your child works just as well. Matching is always optional.
Doll Knits
The doll knits are designed to fit Minikane and Miniland dolls.
Each outfit includes three pieces: the main garment such as a romper, dress, or sweater, plus a matching beanie and a pair of booties.
All pieces come in coordinating styles and colors to create a complete little outfit.
Cotton and Bamboo Yarn
All of the knits in my shop are made using cotton and bamboo yarns.
These fibers are soft, breathable, and gentle on sensitive skin. I do not use synthetic yarns.
They are also machine washable, which makes them easy to care for in everyday life.
I love cotton and bamboo because they have natural stretch, so the garments grow comfortably with your child.
The yarns are lightweight and breathable, which makes the pieces comfortable to wear throughout the year.
Sizing
Most knits run slightly roomier than standard sizing, about half a size larger.
This extra space allows the garment to grow with your child and be worn longer.
Caring for Your Knits
Even though these pieces are handmade, they are designed for real life.
To wash your knits, turn the garment inside out and machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water. Tumble dry for about 10 minutes. Then lay flat on a towel to air dry.
Colors and Custom Requests
If you are ordering from the Made-to-Order collection and do not see the color you are hoping for, there may be additional yarn options available.

Flat-rate USPS shipping within the U.S. is $8.99.
Free U.S. shipping on orders $89+.
Flat-rate USPS shipping to Canada is $34.99.
All shipments include tracking so you can follow your package along the way.
