Do You Know Where My Top Referrals Come From? (Hint: some are just learning to walk… others are learning to drive :-)

Over the years, I’ve had so many heart-to-heart chats with moms who’ve found their way to my small shop. And somewhere between talking about fit, fabric, and laundry tricks, a sweet truth always comes out:

You know who’s sending moms back to my shop again and again?
The kids.

It’s not just toddlers and preschoolers (though they definitely have opinions).
Even the older ones—the growing, stretching, figuring-themselves-out kids—end up reaching for my shop’s handmade knits.

They pull the same cardigan out of the drawer day after day. Ask for another in a different color.

Some of them have been wearing my knits since they were tiny (considering it’s been almost 20 years since I opened my shop—as my baby boy who inspired this whole artisan journey is now a college freshman), and they still want more.

And the babies? They may not have the words yet, but they know :-)

They arch their backs when something feels scratchy.
Tug at sleeves that don’t sit right.
But when something’s soft and gentle, they settle in. They snuggle close.
You can feel the difference.

That’s when moms come back.

Sometimes to size up. Sometimes to pick out a gift for a cousin, a best friend, or the next baby on the way.

And sometimes—for themselves.

This is actually how I started making knits in women’s sizes.

Referred by the kids. 

Moms would write to me saying, “She won’t take it off,” or “He keeps asking if I can get one for me too.” So little by little, I began creating a few cozy styles for moms—soft, timeless pieces in gentle, gender-neutral tones. Whether you’re a boy mom, a girl mom, or both, there’s something here that’s meant to feel like home.

Does your little one has dolls? I make tiny knits for them, too :-)
Because comfort is even sweeter when it’s shared.

And yes—it’s all machine washable.

Because I know how life goes.

This little shop of mine hasn’t grown through big marketing.
It’s grown through kids who feel good in what I make—and moms who notice.
