Have you ever seen a picture of yourself as a little one, snuggled up in something soft and cozy, lovingly handmade?
For me, that memory is as clear as day. That's me in the picture, at the age of two, snuggled up in a hand-knit creation made with love by my mom.
Hey there! I'm June, the mama behind JuneBee Baby artisan knits. Like you, I'm a big Earth lover, a small shop supporter, and a busy parent.
Let me share a little about how it all started here and why I'm so attached to what I do...
My artisan story began way back when I was just nine years old, learning how to knit from my neighbor, Auntie Sevim. Her talent and passion for art sparked something in me that never faded. After graduating college, I worked in corporate marketing for a while but my obsession with knits always stayed in my heart.
Fast forward to being a mom myself, I realized the struggle of finding sustainable handmade clothes that are not only stylish but also comfy and easy to care for. And that's when JuneBee Baby was born - I wanted to blend my love for knitting with practicality as a mom.
At JuneBee Baby, I am all about designing ethical clothing and accessories for the whole family. Timeless knits made to last and pass down through generations.
I support the #slowfashionmovement because I believe in quality over quantity, using natural fibers like cotton and bamboo that you can feel good about and your kids can play (and nap!) in all year round.
Plus, everything is machine-washable for everyday wear, because let's be real, laundry piles can be endless.
Did I mention I also make matching mommy-and-me outfits? Because twinning with your child is just too cute to resist!
