The Truth About My Hand-Knits

November 03, 2025

Popcorn Knit Dress in Periwinkle - handmade cotton bamboo children's dress by JuneBee Baby

Something’s been on my mind lately, and I feel like I need to say it out loud.

I keep seeing machine-made rompers and sweaters, even from some well-known knitwear brands, giving the illusion of being “hand-knit,” and it honestly makes me pause.

So I thought I’d share the truth about the pieces that come from my little artisan shop.

Each and every clothing and accessory from my small studio takes time and care to make, because every stitch is done by hand, the way knitwear once was, with authentic craftsmanship at its heart.

They’re made from cotton and bamboo yarns, with no synthetics and no shortcuts.

They’re designed to last, to grow with your child, and to keep their original beauty after countless washes.

They’re made to be lived in, loved in, and eventually passed down.

Each piece carries its own story, shaped by real hands, not machines.

And while I could make them for less, they’d be worth less — less quality, less comfort, less durability.

That’s what I want my work to stand for: something real, made with heart, and meant to stay.

From my small shop to your family. Always.
