Wait… I Can Machine Wash This?
July 21, 2025
There’s something so dreamy about summer, isn’t there?
Fresh air through the windows. A slower rhythm to the day. It makes me feel so refreshed with a sweet sense of freedom.
And when it comes to getting dressed, it’s all about softness, ease, and comfort that works in the heat and keeps cozy on cooler days.
That’s where the practicality of cotton and bamboo knits come in. Each piece in my shop is hand knitted with breathable, natural yarns that feel light in summer, yet layer beautifully when the weather shifts.
They’re the kind of pieces you’ll reach for again and again... true four-season staples that hold up to real life.
But here’s something that might surprise you:
You don’t have to hand wash them.
Even though they’re handmade with heirloom care, everything in the shop is fully machine washable.
Here’s what I do:
-
Toss the knit into the washing machine on a gentle cycle.
-
Let it tumble in the dryer for 5–10 minutes to take off the wet edge.
-
Then lay flat on a towel to finish drying.
No stress. No special detergent. Just easy, everyday clothing that fits into your rhythm.
And if you’ve been eyeing a few favorites, this might be the perfect time to take a peek at our Secret Bundle for insiders only.
It’s my way of saying thank you with big savings!
You can even split your total into simple, interest-free payments at checkout with Shop Pay, if that’s helpful.
As always, I'm just a note away if you have questions about fit, care, or which knit might work best for you and your fanily.
Here’s to feeling cozy, comfy, and beautifully cared for all year long.

I know it’s not what we’re used to. I mean, waiting a little longer for something to be made. But that’s exactly what makes these heirloom knits special. In my artisan shop, most pieces are made to order, one at a time, using natural fibers and a whole lot of care. Here’s why I don’t rush it and why that extra time is part of the beauty.
